Inspire India Awards

Inspire India Races have fired the imagination of so many people who come year after year to pit themselves against the challenges we put up! The growing community of Ultraracers in India have inspired us to create Awards in honour of those who have achieved them! Read on to find out a bit about the legacy of these Awards and how you can achieve them too!

Kabir Rachure Ultra Award

Named after Kabir Rachure - who is the first person to successfully finish 3 Inspire India Races SOLO. He finished all 3 races with a podium place.

Ila Patil Women's RQ Award

Named after Ila Patil - who is the first Indian Woman to successfully Qualify for Race Across America at the Deccan Cliffhanger SOLO in 2016

Chaitanya Velhal DC Award

Named after Chaitanya Velhal - who is the first person to successfully finish Deccan Cliffhanger SOLO three times... and to have done them all with a podium place!

Team Relay Spirit Fastest to Finish Award

Named after Team Relay Spirit - who set the 2 person record of 22hrs 53mins in DC Edition 4 2016 (Arham Shaikh and Vedant Halarnekar) which still stands after 2018 edition, and have set the 'fastest to the finish' record of 20hrs 50 mins in 2017 with a 4 person team.

Bharath Jayaprakash DC Self Supported Award

Named after Bharath Jayaprakash - who finished three consecutive editions of the Deccan Cliffhanger in the Solo Self-Supported Category

Bharat Pannu Ultra Award

Named after Bharat Pannu - who is the first person to successfully finish the first all 4 Inspire India events SOLO... and to have done them all with a podium place!

Divya Tate Ultra Crew Award

Named after Divya Tate - who crewed 8 times in 4 International Ultracycling races from 2012-2017 in order to garner experience which was then shared through Inspire India's Ultra Race Seminars, designed to prepare racers and their crew for Ultra Racing!

Bharat Pannu Ultra Spice Award

Named after Bharat Pannu - who is the first person to successfully finish the first 3 editions of The Ultra Spice Race SOLO... and to have done them all with a podium place!

ABBF Tandem Award

Named after Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation - an organisation started by Divyanshu Ganatra who firmly believes in inclusivity. ABBF enables people with and without disabilities to participate in numerous outdoor activities including Tandem Cycling.

Anand Patil DC Masters Award

Named after Anand Patil - who is the first person to successfully finish 3 consecutive SOLO Deccan Cliffhanger races, and to have done them all with a first place win in the masters age group!

Sundarmoorthy T Ultra Award

Named after Sundarmoorthy T - who is the first person to finish 3 Inspire India races in Solo Self-Supoprted Category

Vandana Dhavate Women's RQ Award

Named after Vandana Dhavate - who is the first Indian Woman to successfully Qualify for Race Across America at a RAAM Qualifying event in India over 700km

Rutvik Khare Outstanding Crew Award

Named after Rutvik Khare - who crewed at RAAM five times, RAA once, and at several RQs in India
